총 연면적 2,035스퀘어피트 규모의 이 2층 주택은, 상부 층을 주요 생활 공간으로 구성하고 하부 층에는 차고와 함께 독립적인 단일 스위트 공간을 배치한 것이 특징입니다. 하부의 게스트 스위트는 가족이나 손님을 위한 공간으로 활용할 수 있을 뿐 아니라, 임대를 통해 월 생활비 부담을 크게 줄이는 수익형 공간으로도 활용 가능합니다. 또한 향후 주택을 매각할 경우, 부동산 시장에서의 가치 상승에도 긍정적인 요소로 작용할 것으로 기대됩니다.

This modern style home design was completed in BC, Canada. The floor plans were created by its homeowners with the help of our expert house design team. From start to finish of the home plan creation process, our clients had a few key focuses. They wanted to build a cost effective modern prefab home with clean lines, giving it that new age aesthetic look using contemporary construction methods and sustainable materials. We are thrilled with how everything came together, resulting in this custom Canadian modern home.
The 2035 square foot, two story house is laid out so that the upper floor is the main living space, with a garage and a single suite that can operate as a guest house below. By including the guest suite below, the home owners can either use it for guests and family members, or they can rent it out to greatly reduce their monthly cost of living. Its inclusion will also likely increase its value in the real estate market if they were to sell the home some time in the future.
Much of the 926 square foot upper level is dedicated to its living room, highlighted by the abundance of natural light flooding in from its expansive windows. Just adjacent is a compact kitchen that opens up to a sizable 213 square foot deck.
In total, this living space provides the perfect place to gather and entertain guests, with its gas fireplace and views down toward the Pacific Ocean. The rest of the floor’s square footage is dedicated to its two bedrooms and a shared full bathroom located between them.
